Sun Rivers homes for sale

Sun Rivers is a master-planned resort community on benchland above the South Thompson. It's on Kamloops Indian Reserve No. 1, the main reserve of Tkʼemlúps te Secwépemc, which was taken out of City boundaries in 1976 (Sun Rivers, City history). It bills itself as Canada's first geoexchange community and has the Big Horn golf course, trails, and a mix of houses, townhomes and condos.

Sun Rivers homes are leasehold on reserve land. City bylaws don't govern them, and lease length, prepaid versus annual lease payments, property taxation and lender policies can all differ from a normal Kamloops purchase.
